Risk Assessment Services and Method Statements
Helping you develop your risk assessment program
We see the development of your risk assessments and safe systems of work/method statements as a team approach between you, your workforce and ourselves.
Our risk assessment services help establish your current program and prepare your risk assessments for you, working in conjunction with your management team and employees. We’re able to work with businesses in many different industries from large manufacturers and schools, to companies working in construction and refurbishment. Whatever the nature of your business, be it roof work or electrical contracting, you can rest assured that Direct Safety Solutions has you covered.
In addition to this we run bespoke training courses at your premises, enabling you and your workforce to understand the processes and requirements of sensible risk assessments and safe systems of work. Our training is focussed around practical experiences, and all courses take place in your workplace and involve risk assessing in groups.
We also provide a service to our construction related clients where we will visit sites and help formulate site specific risk assessments and method statements that meet the requirements of the law and all major construction companies in the UK.

What is involved in a risk assessment service?
Our commitment to ensuring you meet not only your legal, but also your moral obligations to protect anyone on your site is paramount. Risk assessment services from Direct Safety Solutions comprise of the following:
- A visit to your site from one of our chartered health and safety consultants who will scope out the project and decide what risk assessments are required. This will be determined by identifying your key processes and items of machinery used.
- Our consultant will spend the day (or longer if required) at your premises or site, observing work practices and speaking with your workforce and management.
- A comprehensive risk assessment will then be drafted and issued for your approval.
- We also offer a service where we will formally communicate the findings of the risk assessment to your workforce to ensure full transparency and understanding throughout your business.
