Coronavirus (COVID-19) Risk Assessments

Last week the Prime Minister announced we are thankfully past the past the peak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Deaths. The Prime Minister also talked about the ‘next phase’ of the Pandemic and communicating a ‘road map’ for Businesses to get back to work and kick start the economy.

 

It is stressed that this will not be ‘Business as Usual’ as measures will need to be introduced to ensure the protection of the Health, Safety and Welfare of workers and others affected by your operations (Customers, visitors etc.).

 

The Prime Minister will announce the plans on Sunday 10th May 2020.

 

As with all significant hazards in the workplace, it will be vital that your measures are documented in a formal risk assessment to clearly demonstrate that you have considered the risks and the Government advice, and that you have identified suitable control measures to reduce the risk to an acceptable level, and that these measures have been communicated to your workforce.
